I’m from Puerto Rico and would love to join a non profit that believes in a Resource Based Economy, The Venus Project or the Zeitgeist Movement as a volunteer. I’m a programmer that would love to dedicate his life to cooperation for the welfare and advancement of humanity. Wether it is a local organization or a foreign one that I can volunteer remotely I’d love to take part. ---

Welcome! 🎉 Please note that TZM is a grassroots movement consisting of chapters. We’re not a business you can apply for or a club you can become a member of. Please check the [introduction thread](https://tzm.one/map) to create a chapter. The most basic thing you need is a self managed website or social media page. With that information I can create a chapter listing for on the map. Then more people are able to find you. But please be aware that a chapter needs more than just this. More info for setting up a chapter can be found in this wiki. > [@TZM chapters guide TL;DR](https://tzm.one/t/tzm-chapters-guide-tl-dr/35909): > > Introductionwarning This guide is part of the community maintained #wikis on this forum and is therefore independently developed and unofficial. It’s primarily based on the 68-page guide ([TZM chapters guide 2.0](https://tzm.one/t/tzm-chapters-guide/424)) created in 2012, along with experience gained by activists over time. This TL;DR[[1]](#footnote-6539-1) version of the 2.0 guide offers a short and concise overview. For more detailed information, the original 2.0 version is still recommended. Good evening. I live in France. I would like to know where to find a local branch in Brittany, specifically in the Côtes-d’Armor department. Thank you. ---

Hi everyone, My name is Soumitra Dutta, an Oxford-based entrepreneur & photographer. I’m looking to get started with TZM activism, but I’m not entirely sure what the best first steps are. For those of you already involved, how did you begin? Are there any recommended ways to start contributing—like joining a local group, participating online, or focusing on specific activities first? I’d really appreciate any suggestions, guidance, or experiences you can share to help me get started in the right direction. Regards Soumitra Dutta ---
