With that info I can create a forum group and a map marker. Then people can easily find and contact the Atlanta chapter

hi my name is Monique and Iām new here. I watched the documentaries & read up on the movement a little, Iām so inspired by it all. I think the idea makes so much sense and I canāt stop thinking about it. Iām a mom of 5 in Ohio and work 3rd shift. I donāt have a lot of money. but I wanna know someone like me can help. Im somewhat social media savvy and my kids also really love the idea of this. I wanna see this in my childrenās future. Hi @iwannahelp22, welcome to the forum! And awesome to hear you would like to get involved. Iād recommend to first watch the orientation guide to get a detailed understanding of the train of thought.
It may be the easiest to talk this through āface to faceā via an online meet. @ENCH is from Atlanta and @hoppy is from Scotland, they had a similar question. Perhaps it would be fun to combine this into an online meeting? Iāll ask some people from the @chapter_netherlands to join as well so they can share their experiences and thoughts.

I had dream from childhood to see trust among all, happiness, no problems of money and etc. I always wondered how can I make my dream into a reality, spend many hours on thinking that, searching, educating myself on many topics etc. Recently found out that Jacque Fresco also had my dream from childhood and he already dedicated his life on Venus Project to create that dream world. I canāt find any ways to support his project and found out that I can work on building my dream world by working as a zeitgeist activist. So now I am here working for my dream.
Inshallah we all will reach out goal of creating a great world for out next generationsš.

Whenever I told anyone about my dream most of them just laughed away and told that itās impossible. I believed in my hart that itās possible. Even if we reach it or not, working for that is a MUST! I was upset on how no one I talked to doesnāt had any dreams at all, none even wanted any good for society, They just think of their having a good life, good job, house, cars, moneyā¦ Had zero person giving me any hopeā¦ I was afraid would I find anyone or not, can I do anything alone or notā¦ Though I knew I canāt live my life not working on my dream, so I go on with whatever I can do Than found Jacque Fresco and Peter Joseph and many others already believed in my dream and also gone through a lot of years of hard work making us more closer to our goal. Now with so many ones having the same dream and having so many materials I will be invincible

The Chapter Venezuela, for example, does not exist, and the person who manages the Facebook page that appears on the map lives in Chile and currently prefers the individualistic ideology of the Austrian School.
@Darwin_Vasquez , the only person on this forum who is listed as belonging to the Chapter Venezuela, is actually actively participating in the Meta-chapter.
Hi @DiegoJujuy! People have the ability to leave and join other forum groups. So if they prefer the meta chapter, then they can join that one. Itās also possible to join multiple forum groups. I think it wouldnāt hurt to remain a member of your local chapter while being part of a meta, since local activism is very effective. The term chapter also means a ālocal branchā.
Iām working on a new chapters map. If there are no members of a chapter, it will unlist automatically. However, this new map also does not have support for meta chapters. Itās just very hard to illustrate such a thing on a map. But the website will be open-source, so if someone has ideas about that, then feel free to contribute. An idea would be to create an extra overlay for metaās,that way it doesnāt become too crowded. But I still donāt know how to draw something like that. Maybe a colored outline for countries to show which is part of which meta. But how to deal with overlaps. Spain e.g. could be part of the Spanish speaking meta, but also part of some kind of European meta in the future.
I had to rename the meta chapter to meta_hispanic, this is due to the character limit talked about last year. Iāve reset it back to 20. This is due to some formatting issues and to be in sync with the upstream projectās settings. The full name of the group is still āMeta chapter hispanicā, only the tag was renamed.
As already mentioned in the forum chat, we have a new interactive map!
Iāve spent some time creating a new TZM chapters map. We had one in the past, but it went offline. This new map is fully based on open-source software and is as decentral as we can be. Chapters have to be created on the forum, but people can add and remove themselves as they like. This reflects the principles of our movement as well. I think chapters are key for our movement to do effective activism. It allows us to organize on a local grassroots level, and a map like this allows us to interact globally together via the Internet. Sharing ideas and progress, which inspires more change.
The chapters may not be that active anymore, but I think it still is key in the movementās success. Local activism builds up a different kind of presence and it also allows friendships to be built.

No it looks like Joe and I are the only ones. Was hoping to have a group we could get together with and get involved with on beginning a resource economy. Lots in and around our little town are thinking and planning a community but havenāt heard much.
Hopefully this forum will assist us in understanding how to develop a sustainable community.
