Do more with less. So either switch to different crops or switch to more efficient ways, like hydro/aquaponics. But of course it’s not that simple. Some crops are more profitable and switching your whole farm to a different method is not cheap either.
This resistance or strong reaction to change will get worse over time as we get into deeper problems due to climate change and biodiversity loss. That’s why we should be advocating a resource based economy as much as possible, and best is to do that online and in your local area.
