Yes so we found out not before we had their phone with the 2yr plan.
Luckily immediately went to a Motorola G7 now. That is just downright evil what they did and are doing, our phone provider no longer deals with any of the Huawei products.

That’s good to hear! I also tend to avoid Chinese controlled products more often now. Not just because of the issues addressed in the video, but also due to the likely upcoming economic war with China over Taiwan. I bought solar panels recently and I had to do quite some effort to avoid the Chinese brands. Building our sustainable infrastructure on an unreliable partner is not really smart. We in Europe should learn from the energy dependence of Russian gas. Otherwise we just shift the problem.
