Identity politics and culture war

Today, at least in the US, in general, there too much focus on debating identity politics and too little focus on solving actual social issues, because working together to solve them would inadvertently threaten the dominance of capitalism as the legitimacy of the current system would be challenged.

Creating a culture war using the media is an effective distraction to keep capitalism for longer, because instead of reaching a multi-faceted solution to our current problems, you would pick 2 sides: Bigotry Capitalism or Rainbow Capitalism, which would both lead to the same logical outcome: environmental destruction and massive injustice.

With the culture war in mind, instead of alternative systems being on the rise as people begin to act and unite to protect their advance their economic interests, that is, having a good life in the long term, people would act against their economic interests.

For example, if you want for the border wall to be built due to your xenophobic sentiments, you would vote for the party that would build the wall, even if you would be economically worse and the wall would create an ecological disaster and even more injustice.

So, it makes sense to end the culture war and create a more kinder, collectivist structure. But how do we do it?

I moved this one here to keep the memes thread clear of discussions as much as possible.
