Long-term vision for TZM?

How do you see the long-term vision of TZM unfold? For a decade I see people waiting for Peter Joseph to release that one thing that would turn the momentum around. It seems like people outsourced the long-term vision and strategy to Peter, while he actually already moved away from TZM.

How do you envision the future for TZM without Peter? We’re by definition a grassroots movement, so we don’t need a leader. But we do need people that take the initiative.

Let’s be hypothetical, let’s say you have time and money to implement ideas. What would they be?

Well, was thinking.

Given we have both been left adrift in the past, and:

-i am trying to find members for my political international, and i have a site, wiki and social media profiles for all the platforms you don’t have, even if i don’t have many followers;

-you guys have members and social media profiles for all the platforms i don’t have, and organize mostly through the Discord and this forum, but lack activity;

Maybe we could merge our 2 organizations under one name, and share resources?

Feel free to start such an initiative! I don’t think a new organization is needed though. People from TZM can just join yours if they want.

My TZM routine has been steady for decades by just doing the things I like and build up the momentum. It’s a slow ride, but a steady one. I’m still trying to free up time to do more multimedia stuff. But that will be in 2026. Other than that I personally don’t have time to add more stuff unfortunately.

I also think TZM has the same issue. We lack meaningful activity and active members. I think this forum is the way forward. But people don’t really use it. Discord has more activity. But it’s mostly just talking into the void. Those chats go out of sight and mind in no time and there is no indexing with search engines or AI. Also no direct reposting to socials. So it’s a bit of a waste. There are many meetings there, but no goals set I guess? At least I never see an agenda or minutes where things are moving forward. It seems like they do meetings for the sake of having meetings? I really don’t know, since it has been years since I last joined their meetings. I do appreciate them meeting of course, it keeps the lights on. However, there is no focus on chapter building. Which is where the strength of TZM lies.

I wish I had more positive news :nerd_face:

No, meant unifying under one identity.

TVP is dead for months now, so are most other RBE movements, and it’s only us, TZM, and occasional posts from the Moneyfree Party.

Got them on board, and want to add some disaffected political groups to convert to RBE, and the only resource-based group remaining would be TZM, so would be awesome to be under one banner, with one terminology(hence why i use accessism and open access economy) for everything.

Will also be a fresh start for TZM.

Can even have everything under one site, with you having access to everything, to prevent issues like what happened to your social media pages.

Let’s not let this revolutionary movement die like this.

Sounds good! But my personal reply still stands unfortunately :nerd_face:

There is no central authority that can make this decision though. Since TZM is a grassroots movement consisting of chapters, only chapters could add themselves as a member to that umbrella organization. But no one can make that decision on behalf of the whole TZM network of chapters.

I understand.
But can i use the forum and discord as a meeting place for my future groups?

I can only say something about this forum. I think it’s fine to use this platform! So far you’ve been posting good stuff, so I don’t expect non-TZM subjects. I’m looking forward to learn more about it!

I wouldn’t say they TVP is dead, as long as there are people who understand RBE and are able and willing to lean in and assist that project. also there are other initiatives in the works such as https://common-planet.org/

There are fewer and fewer of those nowadays.
