We conducted a detailed Material Flow Analysis (MFA) of wood used in Glasgow’s construction sector. The study, in collaboration with Glasgow City Council and Pilot Projects, highlights the sources, usage, and end-of-life processes for wood materials, helping the city enhance its biobased construction efforts. The report identifies opportunities for Glasgow, such as replacing carbon-intensive materials like concrete and steel with wood.
