Installed 1 new plugin and 1 new theme component :tada:

Fediverse feature has been enabled, but not setup. In the current setup I don’t see the point yet. Hopefully the plugin will develop more.

And iOS users now also get a notification to install the forum as a PWA.

Of course the Customize the “Community” section of the navigation menu was already in use due to intermediate updates being pulled in. Check the changelog below for more new features.

Installed the latest Discourse release.

And updated the chapters map code to integrate with the new hashtag representation, while keeping backwards compatibility with content that for whatever reasons hasn’t been rebaked to the new format yet.

The VPS provider had some firewall issues and therefore the forum may have been unreachable for sometime. The problem has been resolved already.

Our VPS provider has scheduled a network maintenance. Downtime of the forum should be minimal between 2024-03-12T22:00:00Z→2024-03-13T04:00:00Z.

Dear Customer,

We will be performing maintenance on our infrastructure in Amsterdam
(AMS0) during the night from Tuesday 12 to Wednesday 13 March, between
23:00 and 05:00, where your VPS (tzmc [tzmc-vps2]) is hosted.

Throughout the maintenance, we will replace and upgrade network
equipment, migrate network segments, and introduce new hardware to
improve the capacity and redundancy of our network. We have made
preparations to minimize the impact of the maintenance and therefore
expect minimal impact on your VPS. However, it is possible that you
may experience brief packet loss during the maintenance.

The Events subcategory now has a calendar. To add events, create a new topic, then click on :gear: and then “create event”.
