Have you seen the videos? The massive Russian summer offersive failed to take any new city. In fact, the Ukrainian counter offensive has taken back territory. While Russia is suffering heavy loses.
Oil refinery production is now so low that Russia has to import energy. That’s rather strange for a country which functions as a gas station for the world. Ukraine has knocked out their refineries. People are in line to fuel their cars.
Also, inflation is starting to get out of control and basic needs are getting too expensive. This in combination with the energy shortages and Western sanctions start to push the Russian economy over the edge.
Casualties are so high, Russia has opened an extra crematory to burn more than 200 bodies a day. That is, an extra crematory. Russian casualties are estimated to be more than a million at this point. And for what? A few wheat fields and villages? Russia doesn’t need more land, it’s big enough.
They still don’t control any of the oblasts they annexed on paper about 3 years ago.
Trump gave Putin basically everything he wanted about 6 months ago. But he did not accept that deal. Russia wants to conquer the whole of Ukraine, but it cannot take even the cities that are under siege at the front line for almost 4 years.
In the near future Ukraine will unleash their domestically produced cruise missiles (Flamingo) among other weapons not limited by Western control. Things are already bad now for Russia due to simple drones. Imagine what the Flamingo will do.

They tried to take 3 cities this summer with hundreds of thousands of forces supported by air and land vehicles. Everything failed and Ukraine is even pushing them back now. Russia has the most incompetent army in the world.
