Forming a cartel to increase profits and power is indeed a conspiracy, but it’s also the behavior we reward and motivate within this system. We also celebrate it, since we in general admire rich and economically successful people. We reward and motivate corruption. If we want to solve that, then we don’t need more laws, we need a different socioeconomic system.
Apple also applied planned obsolescence, by draining batteries faster of older iPhone models or making these phones slower. There are many examples of where we reward corrupt behavior. We need systemic solutions for systemic problems.
