The wokism and cancel culture

Hello
What do you think of wokism and cancel culture?
Thank you
Have a good day

Hi @mick22, can you share some more context and examples? And your own view on it? It would help to steer the conversation and makes your post also of higher quality.

Good morning
Regarding Wokism
These are racial and sexual minorities (LGBT as a model) from the USA who take into account various discriminations, with social disparities
About cancel culture
For example, it would be to destroy the statutes of slave governors of the southern states of the American Confederation, in order to erase the history of American slavery, towards black people in the United States of America.
Am I specific in my examples?
THANKS
Good day

I know what “woke” and the cancel culture is. But this is a very broad spectrum and you just drop them here as general things. You often just create topics here without any context or own opinion. Please always add some context and your own view to it. Otherwise I have to spend time over and over again to tell you this and your post doesn’t get any other engagement because of the quality  The next time I will just have to close your topic. Because I’ve been explaining this to you so many times and you keep posting these vague topics where most of your text are just greetings and good bye’s  That kind of interaction is more suitable as a chat message in Lounge.

People can be cancelled because of many reasons. And many people label things as “woke” just because they don’t agree with progressive ideas. I bet a lot of people label TZM as woke as well because we advocate for a sustainable society.

But you seem to relate this to just the us. My point of view is that people can be whatever they want to be as long as that doesn’t interfere with other people’s liberty. I personally don’t think statues should be destroyed. If the community feels it necessary to remove them, they should be placed in a museum. But I have no strong opinion on this. What’s your opinion on it?
